If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to learning something new, how about TV Production or Editing?
Beginning January 24, RCTV will offer 4-week classes in TV Studio Production and Adobe Premiere Editing, taught by award-winning media professionals.
TV Studio Production – This four-week class will give you a strong foundation to produce your own television program. Enjoy learning to operate TV cameras and audio equipment. Manage the studio floor and serve as host. You’ll have the opportunity to pick a topic and produce a program as well as to crew other shows with different formats. Students who successfully complete the class will be certified to use the studio at no cost. Class size is limited to 15. No experience necessary. Ages 15 to Adult. Instructors: Carvin Eison, Rick Osborne and/or Rajesh Barnabas. Students who have successfully completed the class are encouraged to repeat it, to better learn directing skills. We also highly recommend taking RCTV’s four-week Editing Class. Between these two classes, you will have the foundation to prepare you to produce and edit a television show.
Winter four-week class will run on Tuesday, January 24, January 31, February 2 and February 21 (no class Valentine’s Day) from 6 to 7:30 PM. (Please note: There must be five or more students for RCTV to conduct this class. Class size is limited to eight, so register early!)
Adobe Premiere Digital Video Editing, Introductory Level – Come learn the art of visual storytelling! You’ll discover how to edit your movies, video projects, TV programs and P.S.A.’s using Adobe Premiere. This course presents a step-by-step tutorial of everything you need to know to edit polished, fun and dynamic video projects. We’ll cover basics all the way to adding special effects and text. All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary.
