Adobe Premiere Editing – Offered September 20, 27, October 4 and 11 from 6-7:30 PM. Taught by John Watson, this class will teach all the basic skills of editing digital video projects, from capturing the video off your camera, right through output as a final project. Learn how to add transitions, create lower thirds, layer sound elements, do three-point editing and more!
Fee: $60 for members and $120 for non-members (includes 1 year membership, that includes free use of the editing lab and equipment after successful completion of course). Registration is limited to eight.
TV Studio Production – Offered Tuesday, October 18, 25, November 1 and 8 from 6 to 7:30 PM. Taught by Carvin Eison, Rick Osborne and Rajesh Barnabas, this four week course will teach you the basics of producing a television program, and give you hands-on experience at everything from developing the program, on-air appearance, camera work, floor management, audio skills, and directing. By the end of the program, you’ll actually have produced one or more shows, and have the kn0w-how to produce your own.
Fee: $60 for members and $120 for non-members (includes 1 year membership, that includes use of the studio and its equipment after successful completion of course). Registration is limited to 15. At least 5 students must be registered for class to be held.
This fall’s classes are offered consecutively to allow those who wish to take both classes, and providing all the necessary skills to produce and edit a TV program of video project. Online registration is available by clicking on the links above, or you may stop by the studio to register in person.
