Beginning Tuesday, January 28, from 6 to 7 PM, Rashida and Kathleen Washington will collaborate in offering a 4-week workshop on improvisation.
The Improvisation Workshop will be a weekly workshop for hosts, actors, writers and directors. It is designed to develop talent, increase communication skills and generate a creative environment for live performance.
The four week workshop will lay a foundation for and develop improvisational skills that can be applied to television, theater, film, interviews, workplace and any environment where authentic communication is required. Activities will focus on character and scene development, theater games and exercises to help you think on your toes and respond quickly to stimuli.
Note: No prior acting or improv experience is required to enjoy and benefit from this workshop!
Rashida and Kathleen Washington are seasoned performers who have incorporated improvisation into their work, and Kathleen Washington owned and operated an improv theater company for a decade.
The first of these workshops on January 28 is FREE, and to register for the following three, the fee is $30 for Members, $40 for Non-members. To register now to take the full workshop, click on the link below.
