If you’ve got a digital camera and want to improve your skills as a photographer, consider taking RCTV’s May Photography Workshop entitle, “Beyond the Auto Setting: Taking Better, More Creative Photos.” Taught by Dick Bennett, a professional photographer and partner in Image City Photography Gallery, this workshop is guaranteed to build your confidence as well as your photography portfolio.
This two-session workshop will be presented in the following format:
- Session One, Monday, May 16 from 1 to 3 PM – In this first session, Dick will discuss lighting, framing, ISO, aperture settings, lenses and how to put all the “puzzle pieces” together to take great photos. He’ll give handouts so that you can go away with a quick start guide.
- Session Two, Monday May 23 from 1 to 2:30 PM – In the second session, after a quick review by Dick, you’ll share some of the photos you’ve taken during the prior week to get feedback from the class and the instructor, and to ask any questions you may have about the photos or camera usage.
The class will be given at RCTV and the Fee for RCTV Members is $35 and is $45 for Non-Members. Advance registration is required. For more background on Dick, click here.
